Restored Vintage Art Deco Hammond Machine Chrome Alarm Synchronous Clock, the "Polo"

This is a Vintage Art Deco Hammond Machine Chrome Alarm Synchronous clock and it was produced in the early 1930's, the "Polo".   The clock runs well, smoothly and keeps accurate time, and the alarm work great too.  This is a spin-to-start clock – it requires rotating the knob (at the back) to start.  It stands approximately 5-5/8” tall, 4-7/8” wide, and 3-1/4” depth.  It has shiny machine chrome case with decorative black paint at the bottom.  The 4-1/2” dial face and crystal look good.  It has black painted hands chrome second hand.  There are two knobs, alarm setting dial and alarm on/off at the back.  Two knobs:  One is used to start the clock (spin) and other is used to set time.  Alarm:  turn the dial to appropriate setting and turn on the alarm level.

The clock has been professionally restored/serviced and in 'tip-top' condition – disassembled and cleaned.  Casing and feet have been redone; knobs, screws, and second hand have been hand polished.  The housing cover and the back have been stripped and repainted in black.  Movement has been ultrasonically cleaned, serviced, lubricated, reassembled and clock is ready to use.  The cloth black cord (rewired direct to the coil) and plug have been replaced.

This clock comes with a 30-day guarantee on internal mechanism.
