Vintage Telechron Revere Electric Westminster Chimes Clock

This is 1940's Vintage Telechron Elelctric Westminster Chimes Clock. The clock has the gently curving lines of and the dignified hand carved ormanents combine to create an air of beaty and performance. Bird's eye maple panels help to enrich the natural beauty of the mahaogany c ase. It has shiny brass bezel, satin silver dial face, raised numerals. Deep toned Westminster chimes which takes place every hour and quarter of hour. It also chimes and count the hour. The clock runs well, chimes and keeps an accurate time.  It stands approximately 8 inches tall, 20-1/4 inches wide and 5-1/4 inches depth.  There is a time setting knob behind the door and a chime silient level.

The clock has been professionally restored – disassembled, cleaned and refinished casing.  All brass components have been hand polished and top coated with clear lacquer to preserve the finish and to prevent tarnish.  Movement has been ultrasonically cleaned, serviced and lubricated as well as rotor.  Refinished wooden casing (stripped, sanded, stained, and applied clear top coats to protect the finish), reassembled and clock is ready to use.  The cord and bakelite plug have been replaced.
