Restored Vintage Art Deco Hammond Synchronous Electric Alarm Clock

Model 321 - the "Riviera"

This is a 1930's Vintage Art Deco Hammond Synchronous Electric Alarm Clock Model 321, the "Riviera".  The clock runs well, smoothly and keeps accurate time and alarm works too.  This is a spin-to-start clock – it requires rotating the knob (at the back) to start.  It stands approximately 4-1/2" tall, 6-1/2" wide, and 3" depth.  The dial face and crystal look great.  There are two knobs, alarm setting dial and alarm on/off at the back.  Two knobs:  One is used to start the clock (spin) and other is used to set time.  Alarm:  turn the dial to appropriate setting and turn on the alarm level.

The clock has been professionally restored and is in GREAT condition – disassembled and cleaned.  Movement has been ultrasonically cleaned, serviced and lubricated.  Case and housing have been refinished (stripped, sanded, painted, and applied clear coats of lacquer to protect the finish), reassembled and clock is ready to use.  The black cloth cord has been replaced with original bakelite plug.

This clock comes with a 30-day guarantee on internal mechanism.
